I had a wonderful time at the Palm House in Sefton Park this weekend. It was nice to meet so many new people, and see all the beautiful crafts and creations everyone was selling. Of course, as always the Liverpool Gin Company were there pulling out all the stops with their lovely glasses of gin garnished with watermelon, or orange and mint. Outside there was Miss Raggy Doll with her beautiful cards and fabric covered diaries and notebooks; just next to her was iloveupcycle who does amazing things with ordinary objects… My Lunch both days came from the amazing Hafla Hafla, on Saturday I had a Halloumi Burger which tingled my taste-buds, today I had a Pitta Falafel…. which was taste tastic! These guys are highly recommended. Of course, if we are talking about food, we cannot miss out The Talking Bee with his lovely range of jams and Chutneys… the newest of which is a grape jelly. A little way around the corner from me there was the lovely Issy from I & M Gift studios with her amazing baskets, memory books and wreaths all made out of newspaper! Oh yes the Moon and Pea were there from nearby Lark Lane, I highly recommend the Broccoli and Stilton quiche!
So many of you ventured out on the first really sunny almost spring-like days we have had so far! I am told that over 4,000 of you came out on Saturday and a record breaking 7,000 on Sunday! So many of you stopped for a chat and to admire my jewellery, I gave all my business cards away. I used my card machine for the first time too! Yeay me. I do look forward to hearing from you and seeing you again at future events! Thanks for making the last few days so amazing.
See you soon
